Well, it’s official; we harvested about five gallons of honey! Awesome from my point of view as many people advised the first year is the hardest and production of honey not guaranteed. The five gallons came from two 10-frame supers off one hive. The second hive didn’t produce honey. So we’re off to the races, now. Have to get these jars of single filtered raw honey labeled and ready for market. I have a lead on a local store that’s interested in carrying our honey, so as soon as I can get it labeled… whew! so exciting!
